£10.00£20.00

Behind the Scenes is a full length play made up of two one act plays:

Break A Leg – This comedy is based in the dressing room of a theatre; the members of an amateur drama group are performing a farce. It soon becomes apparent that Daniel, who is unhappily married, had a one-night stand the night before. His wife, Josephine, is also in the play and he’s now in turmoil as Daisy (his one-night stand) is helping backstage. To add to his troubles, one of the other actresses is making advances on him. The tension mounts for Daniel as he tries to keep the three ladies apart. The rest of the cast all have various personality traits. It will take a miracle to get through the play as Daniel’s life starts to unravel!

The After Party – This comedy follows on from ‘Break a Leg’ but could be performed as a stand-alone one-act play. Amateur actor, Francis, has invited the theatre group lovies to his home. Daniel, who is unhappily married, is reluctantly in attendance with his wife. Unbeknownst to him among the guests are his ex, a previous one-night stand and another actress who has a crush on him. He tries desperately to keep the four ladies apart. The outspoken thespians add to the tension and what started as a civilised gathering soon turns somewhat rowdy. Join the party as the antics unfold!
