Cast List

Annie is a vapid, self-centered, but not altogether unlikeable.  The script calls for her to be in a scene in bra/panties.  As the author, my point is that she is comfortable parading around in very little in front of Chris, and has no idea of the effect it has on him.  Based on the age/size/shape of the actress, any undergarment will work, as long as it is convincingly sexy.

Bobby is the ex-boyfriend.  Under employed, lives in his mothers basement, constantly feels sorry for himself and although he tries to be tough is easily ego bruised.

Chris is the boy who loves Annie. (Main character) .  Our everyman.

Danny is the boy who Annie has been cheating with, who insisted she dump Bobby.  Clean cut, handsome, sexy, probably more classically attractive than Chris.  Believable as a police officer.

Elizabeth is Danny’s sister. The author imagines her as a kind of badly dressed ‘manic pixie dream girl’ trope, where she is also sarcastic, a bit aggressive and (purposefully) weird.

Wow, just wow!! Such an amazing show!! The comedic timing, the story, the hilarity!!! I absolutely loved everything about this play. I wish I could give it more than five stars. Definitely adding to my list of favorites 😉

This play will grab your attention and never let go. It’s got moments that will make you laugh out loud, feel deeply for each character, and make you forget that Bobby is indeed dead. The writer has a unique voice that you’ve never seen before that amazes you about how hard it makes you laugh despite the serious events in the play. You’ll love this play and so will the audience.
