A group of B-grade radio actors gather at KRAP radio to perform their latest theatrical for the ears, ‘My Wife’s Family’.  Taking their listeners back to the 1920’s they tell us the farcical story of Jack Gay who resides happily at his home ‘Peacehaven’ with the love of his life Stella.  That is, until the arrival of his in-laws, the aptly named ‘Naggs’.  When his interfering mother-in-law discovers what she believes is a plan to deceive her daughter, missing notes and misunderstandings result in a grandbaby being mistaken for a baby-grand, an ageing star for a mistress and a horse doctor for the family physician.  The result is an attempted hit, varnished legs and an exploded summerhouse – and that doesn’t even include the last act!  A riotous ride, complete with vintage commercials and live sound effects, My Wife’s Family: A (Farcical) Live Radio Play is an aural and visual delight, perfect for any space, large or small.

Set                          Suggestive of a 1940’s radio station.
